Getting Set Up
Hello Everyone,
If you’ve made it this far and are interested in Infernal Burn, thank you. I feel like in the time I’ve been working on Infernal burn I’ve made so much progress especially now that I’m getting my social media set up and posting regularly.
So what have I been doing? A lot of math. So much math. And I’m DYSLEXIC. I had to calculate the formulas to make the first batch of each candle. But then I made them and they cured; only for them to be too strong and have the wrong size wick! They also burned too fast and I’m not sure if it was the wick or the wax.
Back to the drawing board. I edited the fragrance oil amount, and added coconut oil which is supposed to harden the beeswax. As well as bigger wicks of course. They are curing now. I am excited to see if these come out better. I’m also making some samples I hope to pass out to locals over Thanksgiving. So I am still getting the amounts correct.
I have been filming some of my pours and experimenting with taking videos yapping about candles because I love them so much. I also have been brainstorming about the future of Infernal Burn and future collections, content, etc.
There is so much I want to do with Infernal Burn still, between different molds, colors, and scents; as well as collection ideas. I’m still figuring out square space and how to use the blog and the newsletter function so stay tuned for further information!
Thank you all,
Fae
